Last year Motorola launched their budget friendly device Moto E. Moto E was the first in that price segment which promises guarantee updates. As the Google announced Android lollipop every Motorola user has been eagerly waiting for the lollipop update then, Motorola finally started to roll out update for Moto G 1st & 2nd gen. But as the Motorola started to rollout update for Moto G 1st & 2nd gen, Moto E and Moto X users also started demanding lollipop update. Then Motorola said that it will take time for lollipop update for Moto X due to their X8 computing system and there was no word about Moto E, then suddenly Motorola started soak test for Moto E in India and Brazil. But Motorola was taking too much time for the lollipop update which made Moto users angry.
Suddenly in a Google+ post David Schuster said that they will directly update the Moto E and Moto X with the latest Android lollipop which is 5.1. Now it's look like the wait is now over for the Moto E users. Motorola has already started to roll out update in a phase manner. But it will take time to reach the update India. So guys keep your eye on your device.
Motorola also said that the only reason behind delaying the update was the bugs in the Android 5.0.2.
