Performance
Both the devices runs on the same processor i.e Snapdragon 810 with 4GB
RAM and as expected both the devices does not fail anywhere whether it is
gaming or heavy multitasking. Both devices handles the gaming as well as
multitasking buttery smooth thanks to 4GB RAM. But with great processing power
also comes great heating issue especially while gaming. Some how both Yu and
Oneplus Succeed to manage heating. Both devices heats up but, every time Oneplus 2 was heating more
than Yutopia. Even though they heats up, but still you can hold them in hand
without any problem.
Camera
When it comes to camera both devices performs very well. Oneplus 2
sports a 13MP shooter whereas, Yutopia has a 21MP shooter. Both the devices
perform well but, Yutopia's 21MP shooter wins here. It captures more light and
Sharpness than Oneplus 2 even in low light. Here are some sample photos
Design
Design wise both looks really good and feels premium in hand. Yutopia
has the full metal body while the Oneplus 2 has sandstone back. Oneplus 2
sandstone back gives better grip and Yutopia's metal back gives it capability to
handle drops and it has also a very good grip and it feels very good than
Oneplus 2 in hand.
Display
Yutopia has 5.2 inch 2k display while the onplus 2 has 1080p display. So, Nothing to fight here. Yutopia Completely beats the oneplus 2 with it's 2k display.
Battery life
Battery life on both devices are pretty good but, oneplus takes the
advantage of it’s 1080p and slightly bigger 3300 mAh battery compare to
Yutopia’s 3000 mAh battery and a 2k display. Yutopia’s 2k display consumes more
power than a 1080p display. None of these devices can get you through full day,
at the end of the you have to recharge them.
OS
Both devices runs on different OS based on Android 5.1.1. Yutopia runs
on Cyanogen OS 12.1 while the oneplus 2 runs on oxygen OS. Here also Yutopia
beats the oneplus 2, the cyanogen OS on Yutopia is much more stable and mature
than the oxygen OS and is also more customisable.
Storage
Storage wise both devices has a very good internal storage. Oneplus 2
has a 64GB and Yutopia has a 32GB internal storage. But, Onplus 2 does
not support MicroSD card while in Yutopia there is hybrid slot in which either
you can put a SIM card or SD card so, storage is not problem on both devices.
Finger print scanner
Both devices has a finer print scanner.
Yutopia has it on the back and oneplus two has it on the front side. After
testing these scanner for a while I notice that Yutopia’s scanner was bit a fast
than oneplus 2. It is easy to reach the Yutopia’s scanner due to it’s small
screen size compare to oneplus 2.
So, Overall I feel that the Yutopia is a winner here and is definetly a
better choice than Oneplus 2 but, it does not mean that Onelus 2 is bad device.
If you want a better camera, display, performance and a MicroSD card support
then Yutopia is for you and if you want a bigger screen and a slightly bigger
battery than Yutopia (it's the only reasons I found to buy oneplus 2 over
Yutopia) then you can go for Oneplus 2. Both are available at Amazon to buy.
