Mi Note 2 is also supposed to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and there also supposed to be 2 variants to be launched. One with the 1080p display and 4GB RAM and the other one with a 2k display and 6GB RAM.
There also rumour of dual camera and 128GB variant with SD 821, 2k display and 6GB RAM.
Even though Xiaomi is known as the Apple of China, they are more like Samsung from design perspectives. Xiaomi has been adopting the design from Samsung's flagship devices.
