Yesterday, +Google launched their most awaited Smart phones the Pixel and the Pixel XL. Both devices comes with a massive specs along with Pixel exclusive features like free unlimited storage in Google photos at full resolution.
Both, Pixel and Pixel XL is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 with 4 GB RAM and a 12.3 MP rear camera with a Sony IMX378 sensor, PDAF, a large f/2.0 aperture and 1.55-micron pixels which, Google claims to be best camera in any smart phone ever and 8-megapixel front camera with a Sony IMX179 sensor, an f/2.4 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels.
Both the devices sports a gorgeous AMOLED display and a fingerprint scanner. The only difference between these two devices is the screen size and battery. Pixel is the smaller one with 5 inch 1080p display and a 2770 mAh battery and Pixel XL as the name suggest is the bigger version with a 5.5 inch QHD (2K) display and a 3450 mAh battery. Pixel and Pixel XL comes in three colors Quite Black, Very Silver, and "limited edition" Really Blue.
Now about the pricing. Pixel and Pixel XL comes with different storage configuration, which are as follows along with prices.

The pricing of these are little too much for Indian market. If Google is planning to give competition to Apple so, they better drop the prices of these devices in India. Almost every person in India who has ₹60,000 to spend on a mobile he or she would definitely buy an iPhone (except hard core Android fan). Pixel will be initially be available from Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Croma from 13th October for preorder and will shipped by the end of October.
