Motorola Moto X (1st gen) lollipop update

Motorola has already released lollipop update for Moto G both gen and Moto X 2nd gen and also for Moto E in specific regions but moto X 1st gen still did not get the lollipop update. According to many famous tech websites that's because of Moto X old Hardware Motorola has to make a light lollipop so that can be handled properly by moto x old hardware. But many people say that "Moto E also got the old and low end hardware and so how can Motorola started to roll out lollipop for Moto E" that's because of Moto X is high end device of Motorola and they want deliver a fluid, smooth and a lag free performance to the users and moto E and moto g got the hardware of same
series. Moto E sports a snapdragon 200 and moto G sports a snapdragon 400 but moto X 1st gen has a completely different set of hardware from all the Moto series phones. Moto X 1st gen sports a
Qualcomm MSM8960DT Snapdragon S4 Pro Dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 CPU. So Motorola has to re- design the lollipop for moto x and that's why it taking so much time to get the lollipop update.
