Yesterday, Nokia launched their first ever Android device Nokia 6 in China which is only available in China on JD.com and now Nokia has filed a trademark for the name "Viki".
Nokia has filed this trademarks in EU, this can be the name of the virtual assistant on which Nokia has been working. In trademark application, Viki has been described as a software for creation and monitoring of mobile and web page assistant working with digital knowledge and combining all data sources into a single chat and voice-based interface. Though it doesn't explicitly mention the words, virtual assistant, the description is pretty clear at what Viki will be.
With Viki Nokia may be planning to give competition to the Apple's Siri, Microsoft's Cortana and Google's Google now and pixel exclusive Google assistant. Although, it's very hard to catch up with this virtual assistant especially with Google's virtual assistant which is best available now. Let's see what is Nokia planning with Viki.
